AKO Group Limited is a Tanzanian company specializing in catering, facilities management, and the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE). Established in 1991 in Dar es Salaam, it is a subsidiary of SF Group of Companies Limited. It offers a vast catalog of standard recipes, along with bespoke menus for events and functions. The company also develops specialized menus, such as hospital meal plans that focus on nutritional value.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Shops to oversee and manage our supermarket operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in supermarket management in Tanzania and be capable of ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage supermarket operations in GGM, Bully, North Mara, and other assigned areas.
· Control inventory, prevent overstocking/understocking, and optimize stock levels.
· Monitor and manage variances and investigate missing items.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective engagement and service delivery.
· Implement operational standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
· Lead and develop the supermarket team to achieve performance goals.

Qualifications & Experience:
· Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience managing supermarkets in Tanzania.
· Strong knowledge of inventory control and variance management.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to drive customer engagement and maintain service excellence
