Role Purpose:

Accountant officer is responsible for overseeing the financial operations activities , strategic planning, compliance issues and decision support.

Key Responsibilities 

• Preparation and submission of all statutory payment and returns such as NSSF,WCF,PAYE,SDL,corporate tax,withholding tax,VAT returns and service levy and make sure are paid properly and on time.
• Preparing documents for tax auditing,tax examination and reply findings during tax auditing and examination.
• Preparing the company monthly bank reconciliation statement
• Controlling income,cash flows and expenditure of the company.
• Offering guidance on cost reduction,revenue enhancement and profit maximization.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial record and participate on audits.
• approval tax invoices and authorized payments to the suppliers.
• Pay roll management both mid-month and monthly
• Analyzing financial data and create report for management
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Qualifications & Competencies.

• Should be degree holder in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of working experiences, retail exposure is an added advantage
• Proven track record in debtor analysis, financial reporting and dept collection.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting tools.
• Proven experience in financial planning budgeting ,cost control, and risk management.
