Role Purpose:
Accountant officer is responsible for overseeing the financial operations activities , strategic planning, compliance issues and decision support.
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Preparation and submission of all statutory payment and returns such as NSSF,WCF,PAYE,SDL,corporate tax,withholding tax,VAT returns and service levy and make sure are paid properly and on time.
- Preparing documents for tax auditing,tax examination and reply findings during tax auditing and examination.
- Preparing the company monthly bank reconciliation statement
- Controlling income,cash flows and expenditure of the company.
- Offering guidance on cost reduction,revenue enhancement and profit maximization.
- Maintain accurate and complete financial record and participate on audits.
- approval tax invoices and authorized payments to the suppliers.
- Pay roll management both mid-month and monthly
- Analyzing financial data and create report for management
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications & Competencies.
- Should be degree holder in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of working experiences, retail exposure is an added advantage
- Proven track record in debtor analysis, financial reporting and dept collection.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting tools.
- Proven experience in financial planning budgeting ,cost control, and risk management.
