Rungwe District Council is a local government authority in the Rungwe District of Tanzania’s Mbeya Region. Its headquarters are in the town of Tukuyu. The council was formerly the sole governing body for the Rungwe area until 2012, when a portion of its jurisdiction was split off to create the Busokelo District Council.

- Key Duties:
- Register incoming and outgoing mail.
- Distribute files to action officers.
- Receive files returning to the registry from action officers.
- Retrieve records/documents/files as needed by action officers.
- Return files to their appropriate storage locations (ranks/filling cabinets).
- Track the movement of files within the institution.
- Qualifications:
- A Form IV (O-Level) or Form VI (A-Level) certificate.
- Possess a Diploma (NTA level 6) in Records Management from a government-recognized college.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Salary Scale: TGS – C
